Walking Together is aimed at helping people to get to know each other better by spending some time in nearby countryside (we're lucky to have such a wide range in easy reach) and maybe in a teashop or pub as well.
Car Sharing also helps people to be more friendly as well as saving the environment and any parking costs. So we shall meet up in Six Streets, work out how many cars we need and set off.
See the Second Sunday on the calendar for details of the next walk – length, type of terrain, whether it is family and/or dog friendly etc.
The first walk was close to home, if you would like to know where we went, then click here. Another local walk you may like to try is along a small part of the Derwent Valley Heritage Way to Little Eaton, on this walk we saw an egret, ravens, herons and dabchicks. Email in for directions
