SIX STREETS DERBY

Over 500 people visited the exhibition & information area. People also had a choice of a self guided walk around local streets using the trail leaflet or looking at features of interest in the area with a guide.

Fantastic contacts were made with people with knowledge of the area to add to the group's archives.

The recreated Air Raid Shelter in the grounds of Parkfields House was a step back in time. Visitors had a chance to look at authentic documents and objects from World War 2 and find out about the air raid precautions that were in place in the Six Streets.

The Mayor of Derby, Councillor Lisa Higginbottom, visited our displays in Six Streets Arts Trail weekend
