Car damage

Posted by Niki Guthrie on February 12, 2017 at 5:35 PM

We've had our car wing mirror damaged (Sunday eve, White St) - the police came calling to let us know about it and to say they'd had some youths going down the street having a pop at several cars. We hadn't heard anything and hadn't been in long so hopefully it was an isolated incident and not too many other cars affected.

A witness reported a man (probably aged between 16 and 24) on a bike damaging a car on Bromley St on Wed evening. If you have nay more info please ring 101. If you have had a car damaged, please report it

Thanks Linda, actually it was the police knocking on our door who alerted us, the officer went all down the street dishing out crime reference numbers.

I notice that there is a post on the Six Streets website about the vehicle damage on White street. I know of two vehicles which have definitely been reported to us, apparently there are more. I have been told today that a group of youths on bikes are responsible however no-one seems to know who they are. If anyone has any information on this, then please don?t hesitate to contact police.101

Best regards,

Linda
