Necklace lost

Posted by diana b on June 25, 2017 at 2:55 PM Comments comments (0)

I was at the arts trail today and whilst taking my cagoule on and off in the drizzle my necklace must have come off. I wondered if anyone handed it in. It has beads in different shades of blue with silver wire around each one.

I would be very grateful for its return.

Thank you

Six Streets Facebook page has a photo of a woman's bike that was found in a Park Grove garden.

Is it yours?

Please check shed/ garage to see if yours is missing.

It looks in good condition - silver with small turquoise highlights.

Cedar St theft

Posted by diana b on June 18, 2017 at 12:40 PM Comments comments (0)

Lenka posted over on Six Streets Facebook page a warning to neighbours that intruders had been in her garden overnight - stolen a bike and generally made a mess.

So please don't leave items around - esp stuff that could be used to break into your/ neighbours' sheds or houses.

Happy Ending - the child's bike was found dumped on Newton's Walk near Longford St. So Lenka may already have it back!

Lost your Tabby?

Laura would have posted this but her laptop lost a battle with a mug of coffee. She is going make a report  to the council,  hopefully they will take a photo so owners can be sure of what has happened.

Unfortunately, it is sad news.

A cat was lying dead outside the flats on Kedleston Rd between shops and Jonty (opposite ibus shelter near Wheeldon Ave) She says the tabby all over cat was clearly hit by a car. It had no collar...

If you have had a flyer through from Woodlands Tree Services - claiming to be based on Woodlands Rd Allestree - then do not use them. Put it in the recycling straight away.

It is a bogus company - the van has false plates. They target elderly people, charge way more than going rate and do a bad job.

This info was forwarded to me by local police - plesae make sure any older neighbours/ relatives know not to use this company.

There was no description of the men - beyond...
